The other paralegals who started when I did and I keep comparing ourselves to each other about who's getting better assignments and who the attorneys prefer and it's making all of us weird and competitive when we could probably learn from each other. We grab coffee and complain but we never actually talk about how to support each other's growth or whether we're even on the right track professionally.
