The other shift supervisors and I completed our lean manufacturing certification together last year and we were all excited about implementing continuous improvement processes, but now we're six months in and I can see that we're all struggling with different aspects of it - some of us are great at the data collection but terrible at the hard conversations with operators, others are good at identifying waste but can't seem to stick with the measurement protocols - and we've never actually talked about how to support each other through what we're each finding difficult.
