The rehabilitation program supervisor and I disagree fundamentally about whether certain inmates deserve a second chance at programming after violations and our different approaches are confusing staff and undermining the participants who need consistency. We've been professional about it in meetings but our philosophical divide is affecting real decisions about people's futures and we can't keep pretending it's just a procedural disagreement.
More people experience this than they realize.
You and a coworker deeply disagree about who deserves a second chance, and inmates are caught in the middle.
