When teaching cohort friendships shift due to career changes

Three of us started teaching at this school the same year and we've been each other's support system, but now one of us is clearly burning out and talking about quitting mid-year while another just got a leadership position and seems to be pulling away from our group. I don't know if we're supposed to address this or just let our friendship naturally change.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

Professional relationships formed in shared struggle require conscious navigation when individual trajectories diverge.
