When peer advisory groups become unproductive venting sessions

We're part of an executive cohort that meets monthly and everyone shares their struggles, but I've noticed that three of us always talk about the same problems without ever actually implementing the advice we get. I'm one of the three and I can see that we're using the group as therapy rather than actual problem-solving, but calling it out feels like it would break something important about the dynamic.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

A group designed for growth has become a comfortable space for avoiding change.
