We're the only two people of color in leadership at our company and we've never directly talked about it but I can feel how we both navigate differently - they're much more diplomatic and careful while I'm more direct and it sometimes feels like we're working against each other instead of together. I don't want to assume what their experience is but I also don't know how to bring this up without it being weird.
