I've spent decades designing the circuits and systems that hum silently inside everything people use without a thought. When it all works, which is nearly always, no one has any reason to know I existed or how much care went into each unseen detail. After a lifetime of that quiet precision, I catch myself wondering whether work no one can see will ever feel truly valued.
