When caring for your congregation runs your own tank dry

I can tend to my congregation now, sit with them in the ordinary joys and sorrows without losing myself. But when the crises pile up, a death, a family falling apart, three people needing me at once, I feel the tank run dry. I keep pouring out care I'm not sure I still have, running on fumes and a prayer.
