When cloud security feels too big to handle

I can set up the firewalls and lock down the obvious stuff, but every time I open the cloud console I see a hundred settings I don't understand. There are permissions inside permissions, and one wrong box could leave the whole company exposed. I nod along in meetings, but inside I feel like I'm guarding a house with a thousand doors and I've only found the front one.
