I've given decades to this practice, and lately I feel hollowed out, like there's nothing left inside to give the next animal or the next grieving owner. The care that used to come naturally now feels like scraping the bottom of an empty jar. I don't know how you refill something that's been running on empty this long.
More people experience this than they realize.
Compassion fatigue has hollowed you out and you don't know how to refill.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
