Sales wants it faster, finance wants it cheaper, and the warehouse wants it to just stop changing every week. I sit in the middle of all of them, nodding, and every promise I make to one breaks a promise to another. I keep the peace for a day or two and then the tug of war starts again. I'm managing all these people and somehow letting all of them down.
More people experience this than they realize.
Every group you serve wants something different, and keeping one happy means letting another down.
