I can follow someone else's study design step by step and run it clean. But when I have to build my own from a blank page, I freeze on which questions to ask and how to keep it from falling apart under scrutiny. I keep waiting to feel like I actually know what I'm doing, and instead I just feel exposed.
More people experience this than they realize.
You can follow a study design, but building your own rigorous research overwhelms you.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
