I can stand up and teach the lesson, hit every point, answer the questions. But when I look out at them I wonder if any of it is actually taking root or if I'm just filling an hour. Someone asked me a real question about belief today and I gave a textbook answer that felt hollow even to me. Teaching I can do. Forming real faith in someone feels beyond me.
