When I can't tell fast enough who is really in trouble

The patients come in faster than I can think, and I'm supposed to know in seconds who's in real trouble. But I hesitate, second-guessing myself while the line backs up behind me. Today I sent someone to wait who turned out to be much sicker than I judged, and my chest still tightens thinking about it. I can't yet read how sick someone is quickly enough, and people are counting on me to.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You can't yet judge fast enough how sick someone really is.
