I can feel this store the way you feel your own house, when a shelf is low, when a line's about to build, who needs a break before they know it themselves. It all runs smooth because of a thousand little things I do without thinking. But nobody notices smooth. They only notice broken. I'm proud of what I do and invisible for doing it well.
More people experience this than they realize.
You keep the whole store running on instinct, and doing it well makes your work invisible.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
