I can stand up front and lead a service without breaking a sweat. But the moment it ends, twenty people need something from me, and the real work is all the messy lives in between. Leading an hour is one thing. Carrying a whole community every day is drowning me.
More people experience this than they realize.
You can run the service, but caring for the whole community all week is too much.
