I can bring people through almost any change now, and I've learned the trick isn't the plan, it's the feelings. I watch for who's scared, who's grieving the old way, who needs to be heard before they'll move. I lead the emotion of it, and that works, but it means I'm always carrying the room's feelings on top of my own.
More people experience this than they realize.
You can bring people through change by leading the emotion, but you carry the room's feelings too.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
