When lives ride on a call you can never be sure about

The intel on my screen is eighty percent solid, and the other twenty percent is the part that keeps me up. If I call it right, people go home safe, and if I'm wrong, people don't, and I will never have all the facts before the clock forces my hand. I make decisions that decide whether strangers live, on information I know is incomplete, and I have to be able to sleep after.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You must make life-and-death calls on incomplete information, never able to be sure you were right.

If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
