When riding a booming trade builds nothing that's yours

I can put an array on any roof now, any pitch, any angle, and I'm genuinely proud of the work. The trade is booming and there's always more. But sometimes I stop and wonder whether riding this wave has actually built me anything lasting of my own, or just kept me busy on other people's roofs.
