I've settled into serving this cause for the long haul instead of burning out in a blaze. I've come to see that keeping myself whole isn't selfish; it's part of the job, because a hollowed-out leader helps no one. Purpose and my own health finally feel like one responsibility.
More people experience this than they realize.
