I've been on my feet since dawn, and inside I'm running on empty, but the smile has to stay on. Nobody sees how much it takes to be warm and calm for people all day when I have nothing left to give.
More people experience this than they realize.
Being pleasant for everyone all day takes more out of you than anyone sees.
