I can run a meeting and keep myself out of it, letting both sides be heard, most of the time. But when one person clearly holds all the power over the other, staying neutral starts to feel like taking the strong one's side. I sat in a session last week watching someone get steamrolled and didn't know how to be fair without picking them up.
More people experience this than they realize.
Staying neutral gets hard when one side holds all the power.
