I can read most of the plans now, follow the lines, find the dimensions. But then I get on site and the wall's eighteen inches off from where the drawing swears it should be, and I stand there frozen, not sure whether to trust the paper or my own eyes. The gap between the drawing and the real thing is where I still get lost.
More people experience this than they realize.
You can read plans but the gaps between the drawing and the real site trip you.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
