I have gotten better at leaving some of it at the office door, and I am proud of that hard-won boundary. But the cases I could not fix stack up in the back of my mind, and a few of them visit me at night. The ones I lost do not let go just because I have learned to say no sometimes.
More people experience this than they realize.
