I take real pride in what I build with my hands, even if the world walks past it without a second look. The men who taught me are getting old and passing on, and hardly any young ones are stepping up to learn. I keep wondering if this whole craft just fades out with the last of us who still care about doing it right.
More people experience this than they realize.
You love a craft the world ignores, and fear it dies out with the old-timers who taught you.
