When the sheer scale of the plant overwhelms you

I look at the plant, the miles of pipe, the tanks, the control rooms, all of it running at once, and I feel tiny. My job is to understand how it works, and there's just so much of it. Some days I can't even figure out where one system ends and the next begins.
