The load spiked hard this week, more than we'd ever seen, and the system just held. I remembered drawing that part months ago, choosing on purpose to trade a little speed for room to grow. Every tradeoff in the design was a choice I made with eyes open, and now I can point to why. Building it from nothing used to scare me, and now I trust the thing I make to stand up.
