If I'm honest, there's nothing in my life outside of work anymore. The hobbies, the friendships, the plans I used to have — work quietly ate all of it over the years, one late night and cancelled weekend at a time. Now the job is basically the whole of my life, and I'm not sure how I let that happen.
More people experience this than they realize.
Work has slowly consumed everything, and you have no life left outside of it.
