When you build other people's futures while yours keeps waiting

I can reach almost any student now, watch the moment something clicks and their whole face changes. Hour after hour I hand kids their futures, one session at a time. And I drive home in the dark realizing I've been so busy opening doors for them that my own has just been sitting there, waiting for me to walk through it.
