When you can point the camera but not tell the story

I can get a clean, in-focus shot every time. But when the director asks me to frame it so the audience feels the character's loneliness, I freeze. I look through the viewfinder and see a picture, not a story, and I don't know how to close that gap.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You can capture a clean shot but can't yet compose one that tells a story.

If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
