When you can test the robot but the rare failures slip past

I can run a robot through a full test suite and catch most of what goes wrong. But it's the rare stuff that haunts me, the one-in-a-thousand failure that only shows up after the thing ships. The edge cases slip right past me, and I lie awake wondering which one I missed this time.
