I do the work nobody else wants, bathing, lifting, cleaning, the most intimate care a person can give, and I do it for close to the lowest pay in the building. I'm exhausted, my body hurts, and I feel about as valued as the mop in the closet. Some nights I honestly wonder how much longer I can keep this up.
