Scenario

When you hold everyone's emotional weight and no one holds yours

By the end of a school day I've absorbed a dozen kids' meltdowns, a teacher in tears in the supply closet, a parent yelling on the phone. I hold all of it steady because that's my job and I'm good at it. Then I drive home and there's no one in the passenger seat to hold any of mine. I'm the container everyone empties into, and no one asks who empties me.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You hold everyone else's emotional weight, and no one holds yours.
