When you hold everyone's hardest cases but no one holds you

I became a clinical supervisor, and now I hold my supervisees' hardest cases and the weight they carry from them, on top of all of my own. Every week I take in more than I can set down, their fear, their burnout, their worst sessions. I hold all of it for everyone, and at the end of the day there's no one whose job it is to hold me.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You hold everyone else's hardest cases and trauma on top of your own, with no one holding you.
