When you know AI basics but not how to actually use it

I've picked up the basics of AI, enough to nod along in meetings and not feel totally lost. But when I sit down to actually use it in my own work, I freeze, unsure where to even start. I keep hearing I need it to stay relevant, and I'm quietly afraid I'm already falling behind.
