I read the scan and I know before anyone else does, sometimes before the patient has any idea. I see the shadow that changes everything, or the clear image that means they're fine. Then I write my report and hand it off, and I'm never the one who gets to tell them.
More people experience this than they realize.
You are the first to know a patient's fate, but never the one who tells them.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
