Someone asked me the other day what I stand for as a leader, and I didn't have an answer. I just react, day to day, doing whatever the moment seems to call for. It works well enough, but I have no real ground under my feet, and when a hard call comes I'm just guessing.
More people experience this than they realize.
You lead on instinct with no real philosophy underneath it.
