It hit me in a meeting today that millions of people will see the thing I made and feel a certain way about their lives because of it. I have real power over what people notice, envy, and reach for, and I've never once stopped to ask what I owe them for that. I'm starting to wonder what I'm actually responsible for when I shape how a whole crowd sees the world.
