When you see what's wrong first and have to carry it silently

I can capture any view now, clean and fast; the machine feels like an extension of my hand. What no one prepared me for is being the first to see it. I spot the shadow, the thing that will change a family's life, and I have to keep my face calm and say nothing, because it's not my place to tell them. I carry it out of the room and home, alone.
