When you spend more time on formatting than on substance

I'll spend an hour nudging fonts, lining up boxes, and picking the right shade of blue, and only ten minutes on what the thing actually says. The formatting is a place I can control completely, so I sink into it and call it work. Meanwhile the real thinking, the hard part, sits there half-done while I fuss over margins.
