I used to lie awake sure that one missed alert would be the end of everything, chasing a perfect safety that doesn't exist. Now I do the work carefully, watch what needs watching, and then I actually go home and sleep. I've made peace with the truth that I lower the risk, I don't erase it. The vigilance is still there, but the dread has mostly let go of me.
More people experience this than they realize.
You stay genuinely vigilant without dread, accepting you reduce risk rather than ever erasing it.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
