When you talk more than anyone in every meeting

I did the math in my head during the last meeting and realized I'd talked more than everyone else combined. Again. It's not that I always have the most to say, it's that my voice fills the room out of habit, and part of it is just making sure everyone remembers I'm in charge. There were quieter people around that table with better ideas, and I talked right over the space where they might have spoken.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You dominate every meeting, and it's become more about holding authority than having the most to say.

If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
