When you want to shape the questions, not just answer them

For years people have dropped questions on my desk and I've dug through the data to hand back clean answers. I'm good at it, but I'm tired of always proving my worth by responding to someone else's curiosity. What I really want, after all this time, is to be the one who decides which questions are worth asking in the first place.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

You are tired of proving your value by answering other people's questions and want, finally, to shape the questions yourself.

If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
