Dancing is my whole life, but my body is the instrument, and it's already starting to age out of a young person's art. Every season I feel time closing in on what I can still do. I've never known myself as anything but a dancer. The thought of who I'll be when I can't dance anymore terrifies me.
More people experience this than they realize.
