I can draw up a building so precisely that the crew builds it right the first time, my sheets are the reason it stands true. But when the ribbon gets cut, it's the big-name designer smiling in the photos while my name lives in a title block no one reads. I'm proud of what I do, and I'm tired of being the invisible hand behind someone else's glory.
More people experience this than they realize.
You make the building come out right, but the credit always goes to someone else.
