When your gut keeps you safe but might be biased

A car rolls slow through the lot at 2 a.m. and something in my gut says wrong. That instinct has kept me and others alive, but I've also learned it can be lazy, feeding me a story about a person before I know a thing about them. Every shift I lean on the same gut I've learned not to fully trust.

More people experience this than they realize.

What we've seen

The same gut instinct that keeps you safe might also be feeding you bias you can't see.
