I can lay my hands on someone and read their whole story, the old injury they forgot to mention, the grief they're carrying in their neck. It took me years to feel that clearly. But to most people I'm just the massage lady, a nice hour, a luxury, and it stings how invisible something so hard-won really is.
More people experience this than they realize.
You can read a body's whole story through touch yet the skill goes unseen.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
