When your plan falls apart the moment reality hits

I wrote a solid plan and felt ready for anything. Then a supplier fell through, a competitor cut prices, and a slow month I didn't forecast all landed at once, and my neat plan just froze on the page. I can make a plan; it's changing it while the ground moves under me that I can't seem to do.
