When I tell people where I work, I watch their eyebrows go up, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't live for that little moment. A big part of how I feel about myself is borrowed straight from the name on my badge. Which means I'm clinging to this job partly for the logo, and the thought of leaving that name scares me more than leaving the actual work ever would.
More people experience this than they realize.
