Every time a deadline gets tight, my research is the first thing thrown overboard. I spend meeting after meeting explaining why understanding the user actually matters, and I'm saying the same things I said last year and the year before. Proving my work deserves to exist is wearing me down more than the work itself.
More people experience this than they realize.
Your work is always the first thing cut, and defending it over and over drains you.
If this sounds familiar, the Library can help you find the bigger picture.
